About Club

Rotary Club of Coimbatore Millenium is a division of the Rotary Club, a worldwide organization of business and professional
leaders with an aim to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and helps to build good
will and peace in the world... The Rotary is a global network of inspired business and professional leaders who volunteer their
time, talents and resources to transform their passions into relevant social causes to improve lives and serve their communities
and the world. The Rotary District 3201 incepted in July 2008 was born as a multi-generation successor of District 89 (comprising
of Afganistan, Burma, Ceylon and India) formed in 1937-38, and an immediate successor of District 3200 formed in 1991-92.
The new district has 112 Clubs and a membership strength of 4373 Rotarians. The Clubs are spread over part of the southern

Indian states of Kerala and Tamilnadu. The larger cities in our RI District are Cochin and Coimbatore. Weekly tea meetings are conducted in a large majority of the Clubs. Rtn MPHF CA B Jayarajan of Rotary Club of Palghat East is the current District
Governor of the district (for 2011-12).
